What Can One Kid Do?
Ages 6 - 12
BE YOURSELF
BE YOURSELF
Identify things you are interested in.
If you are a kid, you may want to tell an interested adult such as a parent or teacher what these things are and ask them to help you learn more about them, and maybe get better at doing this thing.
Create a vision board full of things that make you, YOU! Or make a board of who you would like to be someday.
Learn how to Communicate Well!
This is very important for many reasons. There are examples online of how to improve your communication skills so that people will want to listen to what you have to say, even if they don’t always agree. You can tell your parent(s) or teacher if you are interested in becoming better at this. You can also take a class in it. Getting better at communicating can be a little scary but it can help you a lot in your life to get the things that you want.
What do you like to follow on YouTube or on social media? What do you like to watch over and over? What do you like to share with your friends?
What would you like to become an expert at? What do you like to do just for fun but don’t want to become an expert at? Those are clues to YOU!
How do you know what you are interested in?
What is really fun for you to do? Know that not everyone may like that particular thing that you like. It may be something that comes naturally to you. Sometimes other kids or adults can even be jealous of your ability. But know that we can’t make others happy by hiding our light. It can work for awhile, but eventually it can make us sad.
